ORANG TERKAYA INDONESIA (REALITA)
Belum lama ini saya menemukan sebuah fakta menarik di sekolah kehidupan
Indonesia. Faktanya mengatakan bahwa orang-orang yang paling kaya di negeri ini
ternyata bukanlah mereka yang suka berbicara tentang cara-cara cepat menjadi
kaya. Dan mereka yang sering beriklan di media massa menawarkan gagasan-gagasan
brilian untuk menjadi kaya, ternyata tidak satu pun yang termasuk dalam daftar
150 orang terkaya di Indonesia.
Fakta ini diumumkan oleh Executive Chairman of Globe Asia Rizal Ramli, dan
sebagian dilaporkan oleh Harian Kompas, 31 Juli 2007, halaman 17. Isinya tentang
150 orang terkaya di Indonesia, dan kekayaan pejabat publik, pengusaha yang jadi
pejabat publik, di luar daftar 150 orang terkaya.
Dalam daftar pengusaha yang jadi pejabat publik, dua nama teratas adalah Fadel
Muhammad, Gubernur Gorontalo, dengan kekayaan 16,6 juta dollar AS, disusul Fahmi
Idris, Menteri Perindustrian saat ini. Sementara Presiden Susilo Bambang
Yudhoyono memiliki kekayaan 516.000 dollar AS atau Rp 4,6 miliar per tahun 2004.
